We live in a society where the need to live is overshadowed by the need to survive. Families live a hurried life and due to work and school expectations, the connection between family members are lost.
Sometimes the only connection between families is the internet and this leads to a “virtual life” of pretending. Children growing up in a virtual environment, loose basic humanity skills such as connection and caring. Their world consists of a screen portraying the bizarre and violent. Simple things such as eye contact, touch and human presence are lost.
The results: low self-esteem, low self-worth, learning problems, emotional problems, weak social skills and an overwhelming feeling of loneliness. Parents feel they don’t have the skills to deal with the situation because it is a new era and there is no reference framework to work from.
We offer a safe environment to ensure that those emotional problems are dealt with by coaching both the child and the parent. Only when a child is happy, safe and feels understood can they grow into the nature of educational excellence.
